Very nice Japanese journal. Nothing fancy, but it does have vertical lines instead of horizontal for those who wish to experience writing Japanese or Chinese as it was originally conceived. The cover won’t stand up to being used as a kick ball, but it is attractive in an nice understated way. I like it very much and plan to buy more.
